Jim Hanson grew up traveling the U.S. with his Air Force father and family, with most of his early years spent out west. Jim went on to receive his Bachelors degree and Masters degree at the University of Alabama.
Jim started out working in community development, social work and broadcasting. He then landed a position at Wellness South (now Health Enhancement Research Organization or HERO), focusing on workplace health and health promotion clients.
Jim moved to Roche Diagnostics and found the coordination of the cholesterol-diabetes “model cities” health screening programs to be the most enjoyable aspect of the position. These programs spread throughout the south and east coast, giving him a chance to workwith hospitals, malls, government, and TV health reporters.
Jim has worked for Hanson Medical in various sales, marketing and management positions since 1995. He is particularly interested in large scale health testing events.
Married with two grown children, his interests include family, tennis, guitar, health promotion, wine, travel and animal welfare.
